Building on the success of the 2009 summer jobs initiative, as well as this summer’s State Parks Youth Corps, Southwest Missouri now has 75 more slots for youth in high-demand summer opportunities. The Missouri Summer Jobs Program provides young Missourians on-the-job training and work experience with top-notch employers across the Sh0w-Me state.

Crowder to launch Energy Audit training

Workforce system grants at the state and local level aided Crowder College in the launch of Energy Audit and Weatherization training. The one-week course prepares Students with highly-focused training and certification prep. Crowder’s MARET Center (Missouri Alternative and Renewable Energy Technology Center) hosts the-training slated for February 22-26.
