From Jails to Jobs: How a Career Helps Ex-Offenders Stay on the Right Path
April 30th, 2007Career Center staff work closely with employers in the community who are willing to hire ex-offenders. Staff are able to assist with job search and resume preparation and referrals to other agencies in the community that work with ex-offenders. Career Centers offer a variety of classes and opportunities for you to become more marketable to employers. They also offer the Federal Bonding Program and Work Opportunity Tax Credit and training programs that can assist you with with starting a new career path.
